Lodge Newsletter
| April 15, 2003 |
Welcome to the Lodge 191 3rd Newsletter. The newsletter is
to inform the members and the community of information and events of our
Lodge. The newsletter is for everyone to enjoy and to keep informed, and
also if anyone has any comments or would want add any information that may
be of help please send an E- mail to me and I will attempt to get the
information added to the next news letter.
The Lodge and myself would like to thank the members of the Union for their time and efforts in securing another contract with the city. The personal time and sacrifice that each member of the committee has put into this contract cannot be measured. In December Members of the Woodstock Police Dept. ratified the contract and put an end to possible talks of arbitration. I would also like to make a mention of the Teen dances that our Lodge hosts during the summer months. The teen dances are for the "kids' but they can also be for the adults as well. We encourage that if a parent wished to help our Lodge with the dance, please contact one of the Lodge's members. The help is greatly appreciated and also while at the dance, it will give a parent the time to meet their child's friends and also to meet the police officers in your community. I would like to also extend a welcome to new members of the Woodstock Police Dept. Our Dept has hired and are continuing to hire new Officers to meet the demands of the growing community. The newest member of the Dept is as follows: Ofc. Eiselstein.
The next newsletter will have more information as the weather gets warmer concerning functions that our Lodge will host.
Sincerely, Ofc. D. Pauley Vice President - Lodge191
